Cookie dough cheesecake bars

Steps:

2. <li>Preheat oven to 350F &amp; line a 9x9 baking pan with parchment paper.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp; </span>Set aside.</li>
3. <li>Whisk the dry ingredients together in a large bowl (flour, salt, cornstarch) &amp; set aside.</li>
4. <li>In another large bowl, using an electric mixer mix the sugars &amp; melted butter until just combined.</li>
5. <li>Add the egg + egg yolk &amp; vanilla extract to the sugar mixture, &amp; mix again until combined.</li>
6. <li>Add the flour to the wet mixture &amp; mix with electric mixer until JUST combined. <span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></li>
7. <li>Fold in the chocolate chips &amp; set cookie dough aside to make the cheesecake layer.</li>
8. <li>In a medium bowl, combine the cheesecake ingredients until smooth &amp; creamy.</li>
9. <li>In the lined baking pan, start off using half of the cookie dough spreading it evenly in the pan, patting it down with a spatula.</li>
10. <li>Pour the cheesecake mixture into the cookie dough mixture, spreading it out evenly.</li>
11. <li>Using the rest of the cookie dough, place dollops of it scattered around in the cheesecake layer. <span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></li>
12. <li>Top with extra chocolate chips if desired &amp; bake at 350F for 23-27 minutes or until toothpick comes out mostly clean in the center.</li>
13. <li>Let the cookie dough cheesecake bars sit in the pan, on the counter for at least 30 minutes before serving (to set). <span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></li>
